The mystery of Mary and the Church
Truly, it is worthy and just, equitable and salutary, for us, always and everywhere to give Thee thanks: Eternal and Almighty God :
Thou who preserved the most blessed Virgin Mary from every stain of original sin, so that, filled with the fullness of Thy grace, Thou might prepare in her a mother worthy of Thy Son, and mark the beginning of Her Church, His bride, beautiful without wrinkle or spot. For the most pure Virgin was to give a Son, the innocent Lamb, who would blot out our crimes; and Thou destined her to be, among all Thy people, the advocate of grace and the example of holiness.
Et ídeo, choris angélicis sociáti, te laudámus in gáudio confiténtes:
And so, united with the angelic choirs, we praise Thee with joy, confessing:

GLORIOUS things are told of thee, O Mary, for He who is mighty hath done great things unto thee.

Sacraménta quæ súmpsimus, Dómine Deus noster, illíus in nobis culpæ vúlnera réparent, a qua immaculátam beátæ Maríæ Conceptiónem singuláriter præservásti.

The following blessings may be used, at the priest's discretion, at the end of the celebration of Mass, the Liturgy of the Word, the Office or the sacraments. The deacon, or failing that, the priest himself, pronounces the invitation:
   Inclináte vos ad benedictiónem.
   Bow down for the blessing.
Deinde sacerdos, manibus super populum extensis, dicit benedictionem, omnibus respondentibus:
Then the priest, with hands extended over the people, pronounces the blessing, all responding:
   Amen.
   Amen.
Amen.
May God, who in His goodness willed to redeem mankind by giving birth to the Blessed Virgin Mary, deign to enrich you with His blessing. r. Amen.
Amen.
May thee always and everywhere feel the protection of her through whom thou hast deserved to receive the author of life. r. Amen.
Et qui hodiérna die devótis méntibus convenístis, spiritálium gaudiórum cælestiúmque præmiórum vobíscum múnera reportétis. r. Amen.
And thee who have come today with devotion, may thee take with thee the gifts of spiritual joys and heavenly rewards. r. Amen.
Et benedíctio Dei omnipoténtis, Patris, et Fílii, et Spíritus Sancti, descéndat super vos et máneat semper. r. Amen.
And may the blessing of Almighty God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, descend upon you and remain with you always. r. Amen.
