Hymnus
Virgo vírginum præclára, mihi iam non sis amára; fac me tecum plángere.
Fac ut portem Christi mortem, passiónis fac me sortem et plagas recólere.
Fac me plagis vulnerári, cruce hac inebriári et cruóre Fílii.
Fac me cruce custodíri, morte Christi præmuníri, confovéri grátia.
Quando corpus moriétur, fac ut ánimæ donétur paradísi glória. Amen.

Psalmus 121 (122)
Psalm 121 (122)
Civitas sancta Ierusalem
The holy city of Jerusalem
You have come close to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, which is the heavenly Jerusalem (Hebr 12:22).
Lætátus sum in eo quod dixérunt mihi: * «In domum Dómini íbimus» .
I rejoiced at the things that were said to me: We shall go into the house of the Lord.
Stantes iam sunt pedes nostri * in portis tuis, Ierúsalem.
Our feet were standing in thy courts, O Jerusalem.
Jerusalem, which is built as a city, which is compact together.
For thither did the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord: the testimony of Israel, to praise the name of the Lord.
Quia illic sedérunt sedes ad iudícium, * sedes domus David.
Because their seats have sat in judgment, seats upon the house of David.
Pray ye for the things that are for the peace of Jerusalem: and abundance for them that love thee.
Fiat pax in muris tuis, * et secúritas in túrribus tuis! ».
Let peace be in thy strength: and abundance in thy towers.
Propter fratres meos et próximos meos * loquar: «Pax in te! ».
For the sake of my brethren, and of my neighbours, I spoke peace of thee.
Propter domum Dómini Dei nostri * exquíram bona tibi.
Because of the house of the Lord our God, I have sought good things for thee.
Glória Patri, et Fílio, * et Spirítui Sancto.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
Sicut erat in princípio, et nunc et semper, * et in sǽcula sæculórum. Amen.
As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, and ever shall be. Amen.

Psalmus 126 (127)
Psalm 126 (127)
Vanus labor sine Domino
Without the Lord, work is in vain
Dei ædificatio estis (1 Cor 3, 9).
In God you are built up (1 Cor 3:9).
Nisi Dóminus ædificáverit domum, * in vanum labórant, qui ædíficant eam.
Unless the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it.
Nisi Dóminus custodíerit civitátem, * frustra vígilat, qui custódit eam.
Unless the Lord keep the city, he watcheth in vain that keepeth it.
It is vain for you to rise before light, rise ye after you have sitten, you that eat the bread of sorrow.
Ecce heréditas Dómini fílii, * merces fructus ventris.
When he shall give sleep to his beloved, behold the inheritance of the Lord are children: the reward, the fruit of the womb.
Sicut sagíttæ in manu poténtis, * ita fílii iuventútis.
As arrows in the hand of the mighty, so the children of them that have been shaken.
Blessed is the man that hath filled the desire with them; he shall not be confounded when he shall speak to his enemies in the gate.
Amen.

Canticum (Phil 2, 6-11)
Song (Phil 2:6-11)
De Christo, servo Dei
Christ, servant of God

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
Sicut erat in princípio, et nunc et semper, * et in sǽcula sæculórum. Amen.

Lectio brevis (2 Tim 2, 10-12a)
Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation, which is in Christ Jesus, with heavenly glory. A faithful saying: for if we be dead with him, we shall live also with him. If we suffer, we shall also reign with him. If we deny him, he will also deny us.
Responsorium breve
   r. Stabat sancta María, cæli regína et mundi Dómina * Iuxta crucem Dómini. v. Felix est illa, quæ sine morte méruit palmam martyrii. * Iuxta crucem Dómini. Glória Patri. Stabat.

Ant. Cum vidísset Iesus matrem stantem iuxta crucem et discípulum quem diligébat, dicit matri suæ: Múlier, ecce fílius tuus. Deínde dicit discípulo: Ecce mater tua.

Exultatio animæ in Domino

Or :
Plenam grátia intuére, et exáudi nos.

filiórum tuórum corda ad eándem glóriam dírige.
   - lead the hearts of Your children to that same glory.
Qui Maríam dedísti nobis matrem, ipsa intercedénte, concéde medélam lánguidis, solámen mæréntibus, véniam peccatóribus,
You who gave us Mary as Mother, grant through her intercession healing to the sick, consolation to the afflicted, forgiveness to sinners.

   - may Your faithful persevere in prayer with Mary, Mother of Jesus.

Pater noster
Pater noster, qui es in cælis:
Our Father, who art in heaven,
sanctificétur nomen tuum;
Hallowed be thy name.
advéniat regnum tuum;
Thy kingdom come.
fiat volúntas tua, sicut in cælo et in terra.
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Panem nostrum cotidiánum da nobis hódie;
Give us this day our daily bread.
et dimítte nobis débita nostra,
And forgive us our trespasses,
sicut et nos dimíttimus debitóribus nostris;
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
et ne nos indúcas in tentatiónem;
And lead us not into temptation:
sed líbera nos a malo.
But deliver us from evil.

   r. Et cum spíritu tuo.

Benedícat vos omnípotens Deus, Pater, ✠ et Fílius, et Spíritus Sanctus.

   r. Amen.

Vel alia formula benedictionis, sicut in Missa.
Et si fit dimissio, sequitur invitatio:
   v. Ite in pace. r.

Amen.
