Admonitio sacerdotis
The Priest's Admonition
Omnes huc convénimus, fratres caríssimi, ad Redemptiónis nostræ recolénda mystéria; rogémus ergo Deum omnipoténtem, ut mundus univérsus his totíus benedictiónis et vitæ fóntibus irrigétur.
We are all gathered here, dearest brethren, to commemorate the mysteries of our Redemption; let us wherefore ask Almighty God that the whole world may be watered by these fountains of blessing and life.
Pro ómnibus qui seípsos Deo vovérunt, ut, illo adiuvánte, propósitum suum in fidelitáte custódiant, Dóminum exorémus. r. Kýrie eléison.
For all those who have dedicated themselves to God, that with His help they may remain faithful, let us pray unto the Lord. r. Kyrie eleison.
Pro pace géntium, ut, omni perturbatióne remóta, líberis ipsi méntibus pópuli servíre mereántur, Dóminum exorémus. r. Kýrie eléison.
For the peace of the nations, so that, free from all turmoil, the free spirits of the peoples themselves may be worthy of service, let us pray unto the Lord. r. Kyrie eleison.
Pro sénibus, qui solitúdine vel infirmitáte labórant, ut fratérna nostra caritáte firméntur, Dóminum exorémus. r. Kýrie eléison.
Let us pray unto the Lord for the elderly who worked in solitude or infirmity, that they may be strengthened by our brotherly love. r. Kýrie eléison.
Pro nobis hic congregátis, ut sic sciámus bonis uti præséntibus, quibus nos Deus fovére non désinit, ut iam possímus inhærére perpétuis, Dóminum exorémus. r. Kýrie eléison.
For all of us gathered here, that we may know how to make good use of the blessings of the present—which God never ceases to bestow upon us—so that we may then inherit eternal blessings, we implore the Lord. r. Kyrie eleison.

Prayer by the priest.
Adsit, Dómine, quǽsumus, propitiátio tua pópulo supplicánti, ut, quod te inspiránte fidéliter éxpetit, tua céleri largitáte percípiat. Per Christum.
O Lord, we beseech Thou, grant Thy mercy unto the people who implore Thou, so that what they faithfully hope for in prayer, they may receive through Thy prompt generosity.
