Blessed are those who, hoping in the cross, go down into the water (from a 2nd century author)

Messiah, King and victorious

They have truly banded together against Him whom Thou anointed (Acts 4:27).

Why have the Gentiles raged, and the people devised vain things?

God subjected everything to Him, and, placing Him above all, made Him the head of the Church (Eph 1:22).
