Intercéssio nos, quǽsumus, Dómine, sanctæ Lúciæ vírginis et mártyris gloriósa confóveat, † ut eius natalícia et temporáliter frequentémus, et conspiciámus ætérna. Per Dóminum.
We pray to Thou, Lord, that the glorious intercession of the virgin and martyr Saint Lucy may revive our fervour, so that her birth in heaven may be the object of our occupation here below, and that of our contemplation in eternity.
