Benedictiones sequentes adhiberi possunt, ad libitum sacerdotis, in fine celebrationis Missæ, aut liturgiæ verbi, aut Officii, aut Sacramentorum. Diaconus, vel, eo deficiente, ipse sacerdos, dicit invitatorium:
The following blessings may be used, at the discretion of the priest, at the end of the celebration of Mass, or of the Liturgy of the Word, or of the Office, or of the Sacraments. The deacon, or failing that, the priest himself, says the invitatory:
Inclináte vos ad benedictiónem.
Bow down for the blessing.
Deinde sacerdos, manibus super populum extensis, dicit benedictionem, omnibus respondentibus:
Then the priest, with his hands extended over the people, says the blessing, to which all respond:
Amen.
Amen.
Deus, qui vos in apostólicis tríbuit consístere fundaméntis, benedícere vobis dignétur beatórum Apostolórum N. et N. (beáti Apóstoli N.) méritis intercedéntibus gloriósis.
May God, who has granted thou the grace to stand firm on the apostolic foundations, deign to bless thou through the intercession of the glorious merits of the blessed Apostles N. and N. (of the blessed Apostle N.).

Et apostólicis præsídiis vos pro cunctis fáciat testes veritátis, qui vos eórum munerári documéntis vóluit et exémplis.
And may He who has graced thou with their teachings and examples make thou, through their apostolic protection, witnesses unto the truth for all.

Ut eórum intercessióne ad ætérnæ pátriæ hereditátem perveníre possítis, per quorum doctrínam fídei firmitátem possidétis.
So that, through their intercession, thou may come unto the inheritance of the eternal homeland, thou who possess the firmness of faith through their doctrine.

Et benedíctio Dei omnipoténtis, Patris, et Fílii, ✠ et Spíritus Sancti, descéndat super vos et máneat semper.
And may the blessing of Almighty God, Father, Son, ✠ and Holy Spirit, descend upon thee and remain there forevermore.
