Deus, misericordiárum Pater, cuius Unigénitus, cruci affíxus, beátam Maríam Vírginem, Genetrícem suam, Matrem quoque nostram constítuit, concéde, quǽsumus, ut, eius cooperánte caritáte, Ecclésia tua, in dies fecúndior, prolis sanctitáte exsúltet et ingrémium suum cunctas áttrahat famílias populórum. Per Dóminum.
God of mercy, our Father, Thy only Son, when he died on the Cross, willed that the Virgin Mary, his mother, should also be our mother. Grant to thy Church, sustained by her love, the joy of giving birth to ever more children, of seeing them grow in holiness and of drawing to herself all the families of peoples.
