Admonitio sacerdotis
The Priest's Admonition
In unum congregáti, fratres caríssimi, ad Dei nostri benefícia recolénda, rogémus eum, ut ipse nobis vota subíciat, quæ digne possit audíre.
Gathered together in unity, brethren and sisters, to keep in remembrance the blessings of our God, let us ask Him to inspire our prayers, so that they may be worthy of being answered and said.
Pro Pontífice nostro N., et Antístite nostro N., et omni clero cum pópulo ipsórum gubernáculis commendáto, Dóminum deprecémur. r. Kýrie eléison.
For Pope N., for our bishop N., for all the clergy, and for those entrusted to their care. Let us pray unto the Lord. r. Kyrie eleison.
Pro moderatóribus rerum publicárum eorúmque minístris bonum commúne curántibus, Dóminum deprecémur. r. Kýrie eléison.
For all those in government and their ministers, who are entrusted with the care of the common good. Let us pray unto the Lord. r. Kyrie eleison.
Pro navigántibus, iter agéntibus, et captívis vel in carcéribus deténtis, Dóminum deprecémur. r. Kýrie eléison.
For sailors, for travelers, for captives, and for prisoners. Let us pray unto the Lord. r. Kyrie eleison.
Pro nobis ómnibus fide, devotióne et Dei dilectióne ac timóre in hac aula sacratíssima congregátis, Dóminum deprecémur. r. Kýrie eléison.
For all of us gathered in this holy place in faith, devotion, love, and the fear of God, let us pray unto the Lord. r. Kyrie eleison.

Prayer of the Priest
Fiant, Dómine, tuo grata conspéctui vota supplicántis Ecclésiæ, ut tua nobis misericórdia conferátur quod nostrórum non habet fidúcia meritórum. Per Christum Dóminum nostrum. r. Amen.
May the petitions of Thy supplicating Church be pleasing unto thee, Lord, so that Thy mercy may grant us what we cannot hope for through our own merits. Through Jesus Christ our Lord.
