Make Thyself present, O Lord, to Thy servants who implore Thee, lavishing upon them Thy inexhaustible goodness; it is their pride to have Thou as their Creator and Providence, to restore (in them) what is pleasing to Thou, and then maintain what has been restored.

Eruntque verba haec, quae ego praecipio tibi hodie, in corde tuo, et inculcabis ea filiis tuis et loqueris ea sedens in domo tua et ambulans in itinere, decumbens atque consurgens; et ligabis ea quasi signum in manu tua, eruntque quasi appensum quid inter oculos tuos, scribesque ea in postibus domus tuae et in portis tuis. Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord. Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart, and with thy whole soul, and with thy whole strength. And these words which I command thee this day, shall be in thy heart: And thou shalt tell them to thy children, and thou shalt meditate upon them sitting in thy house, and walking on thy journey, sleeping and rising. Precátus est Móyses in conspéctu Dómini Dei sui, et dixit: Quare, Dómine, irásceris in pópulo tuo ? Parce iræ ánimæ tuæ: meménto Abraham, Isaac, et Iacob, quibus iurásti dare terram fluéntem lac et mel. Et placátus factus est Dóminus de malignitáte, quam dixit fácere pópulo suo.
MOSES prayed in the sight of the Lord his God, and said: Why, O Lord, is Thy indignation enkindled against Thy people? Let the anger of Thy mind cease; remember Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to whom Thou didst swear to give a land flowing with milk and honey: and the Lord was appeased from doing the evil which He had spoken of doing against His people.

Pray, brethren, that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God, the almighty Father.
