  Unto the Lord is the earth and all that is in it, the world and all those who inhabit it.

God, refuge and strength
  Vocabunt nomen eius Emmanuel, quod est interpretatum Nobiscum Deus (Mt 1, 23).
He will be called Emmanuel, which means God With Us (Mt 1:23).
  Deus est nobis refúgium et virtus, * adiutórium in tribulatiónibus invéntus est nimis.
  God is our refuge and our strength, a help that we evermore find in tribulation.
  Proptérea non timébimus, dum turbábitur terra, * et transferéntur montes in cor maris.
  Wherefore we are not afraid if the earth is disturbed, if the mountains sink into the heart of the ocean.
  Fremant et intuméscant aquæ eius, * conturbéntur montes in elatióne eius.

The Jerusalem above is free, and she is our mother (Gal 4:26).

  He founded it on the holy mountains; The Lord loves the gates of Zion more than all of Jacob's dwellings.
