Collecta
Lord, our God, in order to defend the Catholic faith and to establish all things in Christ, Thou hast filled Pope St. Pius X with divine wisdom and apostolic strength; grant us that by following Thy example and doctrine, we may obtain an eternal reward.
Lectio I
Brethren: having suffered before and been abused with contumelies (as you know) at Philippi, we had confidence in our God, to speak unto you the Gospel of God in much carefulness. For our exhortation was not of error, nor of uncleanness, nor in deceit: but as we were approved of God that the Gospel should be committed to us, so we speak: not as pleasing men, but God, who proveth our hearts. For neither have we been, at any time in the word of adulation, as you know; nor in occasion of avarice, God is witness: nor seeking glory of men, neither of you, nor of others. Whereas we might have been a burden to you, as the Apostles of Christ; but we became children in the midst of you, as if a nurse should cherish her children: so having a desire to you, we would gladly deliver unto you not only the Gospel of God, but also our own souls because you are become most dear unto us.
Verbum Dómini. r. Deo grátias.
Word of the Lord. r. Let us give thanks to God.

After Jesus appeared to His disciples and they haddined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter: Simon of John, lovest thou me more than these? He saith to him: Yea Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith to him: Feed my Lambs. He saith to him again: Simon of John, lovest thou me? He saith to him: Yea Lord, thou knowest that I love thee. He saith to him: Feed my Lambs. He saith to him the third time: Simon of John, lovest thou me? Peter was stroken sad because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? Evangelium
In that time: Jesus spake to the multitudes and to his Disciples, saying: Upon the chair of Moyses have sitten the Scribes and the Pharisees. All things therefore whatsoever they shall say to you, observe ye and do ye: but according to their works do ye not, for they say and do not. For they bind heavy burdens & importable: & put them upon men's shoulders: but with a finger of their own they will not move them. But they do all their works for to be seen of men. For they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge their fringes. And they love the first places at suppers, and the first chairs in the Synagogues, and salutations in the market-place, and to be called of men, Rabbi. But be not you called Rabbi. For one is your Master, and all you are brethren. And call none Father to yourself upon earth: for one is your Father, he that is in Heaven. Neither be ye called Masters: for one is your Master, Christ. He that is the greater of you, shall be your servitor. And he that exalteth himself, shall be humbled: and he that humbleth himself, shall be exalted.

Verily, it is right and just, fair and salutary for us, evermore and everywhere, to give thee thanks: Lord, Holy Father, eternal and almighty God, through Christ our Lord.
Quia sic tríbuis Ecclésiam tuam sancti N. festivitáte gaudére, ut eam exémplo piæ conversatiónis corróbores, verbo prædicatiónis erúdias, gratáque tibi supplicatióne tueáris.
Forasmuch as Thou grant us the joy of celebrating the feast of Saint N. today, strengthening Thy Church through the example of his holy life, instructing it through his words, and protecting it through his intercession.
That is wherefore, together with the angels and the host of saints, we sing a hymn of praise unto thee, saying without end:
