Brethren: For the charity of Christ urgeth us; judging this, that if one died for all, then all were dead. And Christ died for all: that they also which live, may not now live to themselves, but to him that died for them and rose again. Therefore we from hence-forth know no man according to the flesh. And if we have known Christ according to the flesh: but now we know him no more. If then any be in Christ a new creature: the old are passed, behold all things are made new. But all of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Christ: and hath given us the ministry of reconciliation. For God indeed was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not imputing to them their sins, and hath put in us the word of reconciliation. For Christ therefore we are legates, God as it were exhorting by us. For Christ we beseech you, be reconciled to God.

Vere dignum et iustum est, æquum et salutáre, nos tibi semper et ubíque grátias ágere: Dómine, sancte Pater, omnípotens ætérne Deus: per Christum Dóminum nostrum.
Verily, it is right and just, fair and salutary for us, evermore and everywhere, to give thee thanks: Lord, Holy Father, eternal and almighty God, through Christ our Lord.
Quia sic tríbuis Ecclésiam tuam sancti N. festivitáte gaudére, ut eam exémplo piæ conversatiónis corróbores, verbo prædicatiónis erúdias, gratáque tibi supplicatióne tueáris.
