If God is for us, who will be against us?

As for my God, his way is undefiled: the words of the Lord are fire tried: he is the protector of all that trust in him.

For who is God but the Lord? or who is God but our God?

Certe si domum vestram quisquam dives ac præpotens amícus intráret, omni festinántia domus tota mundarétur, ne quid fortásse esset quod óculos amíci intrántis offénderet. Tergat ergo sordes pravi óperis, qui Deo præparat domum mentis. Sed vidéte quid véritas dicit: Veniémus et mansiónem apud eum faciémus. De dilectióne Conditóris, lingua, mens et vita requirátur. Numquam est Dei amor otiósus. Operátur étenim magna, si est; si vero operári rénuit, amor non est.

O God, whose grace from ungodly makes us righteous, and from unhappy makes us happy, take care of Thy works, take care of Thy gifts, so that those in whom the justification of faith resides do not lack the strength of perseverance.
