Thanksgiving for salvation and victory.

Díligam te, Dómine, fortitúdo mea. * Dómine, firmaméntum meum et refúgium meum et liberátor meus;

I will love Thou, Lord, my strength. Lord, my firmament, my refuge and my deliverer.

Deus meus, adiútor meus, et sperábo in eum; * protéctor meus et cornu salútis meæ et suscéptor meus.

My God is my helper, and I will hope in Him. He is my protector, and the horn of my salvation, and my defender.

Non de se quidam vana interpretatióne decípiant, quod díxerit Dóminus: Ubicúmque fúerint duo aut tres collécti in nómine meo, ego cum eis sum. Corruptóres evangélii atque intérpretes falsi extréma ponunt et superióra prætéreunt, partis mémores et partem súbdole compriméntes: ut ipsi ab Ecclésia scissi sunt, ita capítuli uníus senténtiam scindunt.
