  Invéni David servum meum; * óleo sancto meo unxi eum.
  I have found David My servant; I anointed him with My holy oil.
  Manus enim mea firma erit cum eo, * et bráchium meum confortábit eum.
  For My hand will assist him, and My arm will strengthen him.

  The enemy will never have the advantage over him, and the son of iniquity will not be able to harm him.

  but I will not withdraw My mercy from him, nor will I betray My truth.
