Lectio brevis (Tob 12, 15. 18. 20b)
Ego sum Ráphæl, unus ex septem ángelis sanctis, qui assístimus et ingrédimur ante claritátem Dómini. Cum essem vobíscum, non mea grátia eram vobíscum, sed voluntáte Dei. Ipsi benedícite ómnibus diébus, decantáte ei. Ecce ego ascéndo ad eum, qui me misit. Scríbite ómnia hæc, quæ contigérunt vobis.
For I am Raphael an Angel, one of the seven, which assist before our Lord. For when I was with you, by the will of God I was so: bless ye him, and sing to him. It is time therefore that I return to him, that sent me: but bless ye God, and tell all his marvelous works.
