De vita nova in Christo
New Life in Christ
Vere dignum et iustum est, æquum et salutáre: Te quidem, Dómine, omni témpore confitéri, sed in hoc potíssimum gloriósius prædicáre, cum Pascha nostrum immolátus est Christus. Per quem in ætérnam vitam fílii lucis oriúntur, et regni cæléstis átria fidélibus reserántur.
Verily it is right and just, fair and salutary to praise Thou at all times, Lord, but even more so to exalt Thou in this glorious season when Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed. Through him, the children of light are awakened to eternal life, and the gates of the kingdom of heaven are opened unto the faithful;
Quia mors nostra est eius morte redémpta, et in eius resurrectióne vita ómnium resurréxit.
For our death has been overcome in His death, and in His glorious resurrection, all life has been raised to new life.
Quaprópter, profúsis paschálibus gáudiis, totus in orbe terrárum mundus exsúltat.
And so, filled with the joy of Easter, the whole world rejoices.
