   PRÆFATIO PASCHALIS IV
   
   De restauratione universi per mysterium paschale
   Universal Restoration Through the Mystery of Easter
   Vere dignum et iustum est, æquum et salutáre:
   Verily, it is worthy and just, fair and beneficial:
   Te quidem, Dómine, omni témpore confitéri, sed in hoc potíssimum gloriósius prædicáre, cum Pascha nostrum immolátus est Christus.
   but even more to exalt Thou in this glorious time when Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed.
   Quia, vetustáte destrúcta, renovántur univérsa deiécta, et vitæ nobis in Christo reparátur intégritas.
   For our former misery has been destroyed, everything that had fallen apart has been rebuilt, and our life in Christ has been completely renewed.
   Quaprópter, profúsis paschálibus gáudiis, totus in orbe terrárum mundus exsúltat.
   And so, filled with the joy of Easter, the whole world rejoices.
   Sed et supérnæ virtútes atque angélicæ potestátes hymnum glóriæ tuæ cóncinunt, sine fine dicéntes:
   But the higher virtues and the angelic powers, too, sing the hymn of Thy glory, saying without ceasing:
