Feria VI 18 Septembris 2026, Hebdomada XXIV per annum,
   Psalmus 26 (27)
   Psalm 26 (27)
   In periculis fiducia
   Confidence in danger
   Ecce tabernaculum Dei cum hominibus (Ap 21, 3).
   This is God's tabernacle with men (Rev 21:3).
   I
   I
   Dóminus illuminátio mea et salus mea, * quem timébo?
   The Lord is my light and my salvation: of whom shall I be afraid?
    Dóminus protéctor vitæ meæ, * a quo trepidábo?
   The Lord is the bulwark of my life: whom should I fear?
   Dum apprópiant super me nocéntes, * ut edant carnes meas;
   When wicked men came against me to devour my flesh;
   qui tríbulant me et inimíci mei, * ipsi infirmáti sunt et cecidérunt.
   When my adversaries and enemies advanced, they staggered and fell.
   Si consístant advérsum me castra, * non timébit cor meum;
   Let an army come and encamp against me, my heart will not fear;
   si exsúrgat advérsum me proelium, * in hoc ego sperábo.
   let the battle be waged against me, then even I will have confidence.
   Unum pétii a Dómino, hoc requíram: * ut inhábitem in domo Dómini ómnibus diébus vitæ meæ,
   I ask the Lord one thing, I ardently desire it: I would like to dwell in the house of the Lord, all the days of my life,
   ut vídeam voluptátem Dómini * et vísitem templum eius.
   to enjoy the kindness of the Lord, to contemplate His sanctuary.
   Quóniam occultábit me in tentório suo, * in die malórum.
   For He shall shelter me in His dwelling place in the day of adversity,
   Abscóndet me in abscóndito tabernáculi sui, * in petra exaltábit me.
   He shall hide me in the secret of His tent, He shall set me on a rock.
   Et nunc exaltátur caput meum * super inimícos meos in circúitu meo.
   My head will rise above the enemies around me.
   Immolábo in tabernáculo eius hóstias vociferatiónis, * cantábo et psalmum dicam Dómino.
   I will offer in His tabernacle sacrifices of thanksgiving, and I will sing and say hymns unto the Lord.
