Díligam te, Dómine, fortitúdo mea. * Dómine, firmaméntum meum et refúgium meum et liberátor meus;

I will love Thou, Lord, my strength. Lord, my firmament, my refuge and my deliverer.

Deus meus, adiútor meus, et sperábo in eum; * protéctor meus et cornu salútis meæ et suscéptor meus.

My God is my helper, and I will hope in Him. He is my protector, and the horn of my salvation, and my defender.

Per tam gloriósa mártyrum gesta, quibus úbique floret Ecclésia, ipsi óculis nostris probámus quam verum sit quod cantávimus quia pretiósa in conspéctu Dómini mors sanctórum eius; quando et in conspéctu nostro pretiósa est, et in conspéctu eius pro cuius nómine facta est. Sed prétium mórtium istárum mors est uníus. Quantas mortes emit unus móriens qui, si non morerétur, granum fruménti non multiplicarétur?
