Lectio I
He that feareth God, shall do good things, and he that hath justice shall apprehend her, and she will meet him as an honourable mother, & a wife from virginity she will receive him. She shall feed him with the bread of life and understanding, and give him the water of wholesome wisdom to drink: and she shall be made sure in him, and he shall not be bowed: and she shall hold him fast, and he shall not be confounded: and she shall exalt him before his neighbours, and in the midst of the Church she shall open his mouth, and shall fill him with the spirit of wisdom and understanding, and shall clothe him with a stole of glory. Joy & exultation she shall heap upon him, & shall make him inherit an everlasting name.

Lectio I
This is what the Lord says: I will sanctify my great name, that is polluted among the Gentiles, which you have polluted in the midst of them: that the Gentiles may know that I am the Lord, saith our Lord of hosts, when I shall be sanctified in you before them. For I will take you out of the Gentiles, & will gather you together out of all the lands, & will bring you into your land. And I will pour out upon you clean water, and you shall be cleansed from all your contaminations, and from all your idols will I cleanse you. And I will give you a new heart, and will put a new spirit in the midst of you: and will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and will give you a fleshy heart. And I will put my spirit in the midst of you: and I will make that you walk in my precepts, and keep my judgements, and do them. And you shall dwell in the land: which I gave to your fathers, and you shall be my people, and I will be your God.

At that time, Jesus looked up to Heaven and said: Holy Father, not for them only do I pray, but for them also that by their word shall believe in me: that they all may be one, as thou (Father) in me & I in thee; that they also in us may be one: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory that thou hast given me, have I given to them; that they may be one as we also are one. I in them, and thou in me: that they may be consummate in one: and the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as me also thou hast loved. Father, whom thou hast given me, I will, that where I am, they also may be with me: that they may see my glory which thou hast given me, because thou hast loved me before the creation of the world. Just Father, the world hath not known thee. But I have known thee: and these have known, that thou didst send me. And I have notified thy name to them, and will notify it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

Evangelium
At ille obmútuit.
At that time, Jesus spake again in parables to the chief priests and the elders, saying: The Kingdom of Heaven is likened to a man being a king, which made a marriage to his son. And he sent his servants to call them that were invited to the marriage: and they would not come. Again he sent other servants, saying: Tell them that were invited, Behold I have prepared my dinner; my beeves & fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come ye to the marriage. But they neglected and went their ways, one to his farm, and another to his merchandise: and the rest laid hands upon his servants, and spitefully entreating them, murdered them. But when the king had heard of it, he was wroth, and sending his hosts, destroyed those murderers, and burnt their city. Then he saith to his servants: The marriage indeed is ready: but they that were invited, were not worthy. Go ye therefore into the high ways; and whosoever you shall find, call to the marriage. And his servants going forth into the ways, gathered together all that they found, bad and good: and the marriage was filled with guests. And the king went in to see the guests: and he saw there a man not attired in a wedding garment. And he saith to him: Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? But he was dumb. Then the king said to the waiters: Bind his hands and feet, and cast him into the utter darkness: there shall be weeping & gnashing of teeth. For many be called, but few elect.

TASTE and see that the Lord is sweet: blessed is the man that hopeth in Him.
Post communionem
Cibus, quem súmpsimus, Dómine, in celebratióne beáti Bernárdi, suum in nobis operétur efféctum, ut, eius exémplis roboráti et mónitis erudíti, Verbi tui incarnáti rapiámur amóre. Qui vivit et regnat in sǽcula sæculórum.
May the food we have received, Lord, on the occasion of the celebration of Blessed Bernard, bear fruit within us, so that, instructed by his teaching and comforted by his example, we may be filled with love for Thy Incarnate Word.
Ad Missam lectam:

As the Father has loved Me, so have I loved thou, says the Lord; abide in My love.
