Qui consérvat legem, multíplicat oblatiónes:sacrifícium salutáre est atténdere mandátis. Qui retríbuit grátiam, offert similáginem, et, qui facit eleemósynam, offert sacrifícium laudis. He who keeps the law multiplies his offerings; the sacrifice of salvation consists in keeping the commandments. He who returns kindness offers a grain offering, and he who gives alms offers a sacrifice of praise. It is pleasing to the Lord to turn away from iniquity, and to implore forgiveness of sins is to turn away from injustice.Thou shalt not come before the Lord empty-handed: for all these things are done because of God's commandment. The offering of the righteous enriches the altar, and its fragrance is pleasing in the sight of the Most High; the sacrifice of the righteous is accepted, and the Lord will not forget its remembrance.Give glory to God with a cheerful eye and do not diminish the firstfruits of thy hands; in every gift let thy face be joyful and sanctify thy tithes with joy; Give to the Most High according to his gift and, with a kind eye, to the work of thy hands, for the Lord is a rewarder and will repay thee sevenfold.Do not offer evil gifts, for he will not accept them; and do not trust in an unjust sacrifice, for the Lord is a judge, and with him there is no partiality.

Vere dignum et iustum est, æquum et salutáre, nos tibi semper et ubíque grátias ágere: Dómine, sancte Pater, omnípotens ætérne Deus: per Christum Dóminum nostrum.
Verily, it is right and just, fair and salutary for us, evermore and everywhere, to give thee thanks: Lord, Holy Father, eternal and almighty God, through Christ our Lord.

Beátus servus, quem, cum vénerit dóminus, invénerit vigilántem: amen dico vobis, super ómnia bona sua constítuet eum.
Blessed is that servant, if his master, on his arrival, finds him keeping watch. Truly, I tell you, he will set him over all his possessions.
