Let us rejoice in our God, dearest brethren, who delights in enriching us with His gifts, and let us say with faith:
Grátiam et pacem multíplica, Dómine.
Multiply, O Lord, grace and peace.
Ætérne Deus, cui mille anni sunt tamquam dies hestérna, quæ prætériit,
Eternal God, a thousand years in Thy presence are like a day gone by;
— esse vitam quasi florem mane germinántem, véspere autem arescéntem nos memoráre concéde.
- help us to evermore keep in remembrance that our lives are like grass that renews itself in the morning and withers in the afternoon.
Manna tuum pópulo largíre, ne esúriat,
Feed Thy people with manna so they won't starve
— et aquam vivam, ne sítiat in ætérnum.
- and give him living water, that he may never thirst anon.
Fac ut fidéles tui quæ sursum sunt quærant et sápiant,
May Thy faithful seek and savor the good things above
— étiam témpora óperis et ótii in tuam glóriam vertant.
- and glorify Thou in their rest.
Ærem nobis, Dómine, largíre propítium,
Grant us good harvests, O Lord,
— quo uberióres percipiámus fructus terræ.
- so that we may enjoy the abundant fruits of the earth.

Ab ómnibus noxis líbera nos, Dómine,
From all evils, deliver us, O Lord.
— et copiósam benedictiónem super domus nostras effúnde.
- and shower an abundant blessing on our homes.
Visiónem vultus tui largíre defúnctis,
May the dead behold Thy face
— et eius contemplatióne nos redde beátos.
- and may we, blessed ones, contemplate Him.
