Omnes gentes Domino confiteantur
All nations will give glory to the Lord
Notum sit vobis quoniam gentibus missum est hoc salutare Dei (Act 28, 28).
Know that God's salvation has been sent to the Gentiles (Acts 28:28).
Deus misereátur nostri et benedícat nobis; * illúminet vultum suum super nos,
May God have mercy on us, and bless us: * may he cause the light of his countenance to shine upon us.
ut cognoscátur in terra via tua, * in ómnibus géntibus salutáre tuum.
That thy way may be known upon earth: * thy salvation in all nations.
Confiteántur tibi pópuli, Deus; * confiteántur tibi pópuli omnes.
Let the people confess to thee, O God: * let all the people give praise to thee.
Læténtur et exsúltent gentes, † quóniam iúdicas pópulos in æquitáte * et gentes in terra dírigis.
Let the nations be glad and rejoice: † for thee judgest the people with justice, * and directest the nations upon earth.
Confiteántur tibi pópuli, Deus, * confiteántur tibi pópuli omnes.
Let the people, O God, confess to thee: * let all the people give praise to thee.
Terra dedit fructum suum; * benedícat nos Deus, Deus noster,
The earth hath yielded her fruit: * may God, our God, bless us.
benedícat nos Deus, * et métuant eum omnes fines terræ.
May God bless us: * and all the ends of the earth fear him.
