The good shepherd

Agnus pascet illos et deducet eos ad vitæ fontes aquarum (Ap 7, 17).

The Lamb will be their Shepherd, leading them to the waters of the spring of life. Rev 7:17

The Lord is my shepherd; I will want for naught: He maketh me rest in green pastures,

After this the proper prayer is said straightway and without "Let us pray", with the long conclusion.

Deus, qui paschália nobis remédia contulísti, pópulum tuum cælésti dono proséquere, ut, perféctam libertátem assecútus, in cælis gáudeat unde nunc in terris exsúltat. Per Dóminum.

O God, who in the Passover Solemnity gave us the remedy [we needed], continue to pour out Thy heavenly gift upon Thy people, so that, having attained perfect freedom, they may rejoice in heaven, He who already now rejoices on earth.
