Caríssimi, mémores estóte verbórum, quæ prædícta sunt ab apóstolis Dómini nostri Iésu Christi. Superædificántes vosmetípsos sanctíssimæ vestræ fídei, in Spíritu Sancto orántes, ipsos vos in dilectióne Dei serváte, exspectántes misericórdiam Dómini nostri Iésu Christi in vitam ætérnam. Et his quidem miserémini disputántibus; illos vero salváte de igne rapiéntes; áliis autem miserémini in timóre, odiéntes et eam, quæ carnális est, maculátam túnicam. Ei autem, qui potest vos conserváre sine peccáto et constitúere ante conspéctum glóriæ suæ immaculátos in exsultatióne, soli Deo salvatóri nostro per Iésum Christum Dóminum nostrum glória, magnificéntia, impérium et potéstas ante omne sǽculum et nunc et in ómnia sǽcula. My dearly beloved, be mindful of the words which have been spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who told you, that in the last time there should come mockers, walking according to their own desires in ungodlinesses. These are they, who separate themselves, sensual men, having not the Spirit. But you, my beloved, building yourselves upon you most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, unto life everlasting. And some indeed reprove, being judged: But others save, pulling them out of the fire. And on others have mercy, in fear, hating also the spotted garment which is carnal. Now to him who is able to preserve you without sin, and to present you spotless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, in the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, To the only God our Saviour through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory and magnificence, empire and power, before all ages, and now, and for all ages of ages. On the maternity of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Vere dignum et iustum est, æquum et salutáre, nos tibi semper et ubíque grátias ágere: Dómine, sancte Pater, omnípotens ætérne Deus:
Truly it is worthy and just, equitable and salutary, for us always and everywhere to give You thanks: Lord, holy Father, almighty and eternal God: through Christ, our Lord.
Et te in veneratióne beátæ Maríæ semper Vírginis collaudáre, benedícere et prædicáre. Quæ et Unigénitum tuum Sancti Spíritus obumbratióne concépit, et, virginitátis glória permanénte, lumen ætérnum mundo effúdit, Iesum Christum Dóminum nostrum.
And to praise You, bless You and preach to You by venerating Blessed Mary, ever virgin. Because she conceived Your only Son through the work of the Holy Spirit and, without losing the glory of her virginity, cast an eternal light on the world, Jesus Christ, our Lord.
