I will give You thanks and praise, and I will bless the name of the Lord. When I was still young, before I went astray, I openly sought wisdom in my prayer; before the temple I called for it, and to the end I sought it, and it sprang up like an early grape. My heart rejoiced in it; my foot trod the straight path. From my youth I sought her. I inclined my ear to it and received it, and found much wisdom for myself and made great progress in it.
