Hymnus
Nunc, Sancte, nobis, Spíritus, unum Patri cum Fílio, dignáre promptus íngeri nostro refúsus péctori.
Come, Holy Ghost, who ever One Art with the Father and the Son, It is the hour, our souls possess With Thy full flood of holiness.
Os, lingua, mens, sensus, vigor confessiónem pérsonent, flamméscat igne cáritas, accéndat ardor próximos.
Let flesh and heart and lips and mind Sound forth our witness to mankind; And love light up our mortal frame, Till others catch the living flame.
Amen.
To us, through Thee, the grace be shown To know the Father and the Son; And Spirit of Them both, may we Forever rest our faith in Thee.

Psalm 118 (119), 9-16
II (Beth)
II (Beth)
In quo mundábit adulescéntior viam suam? * In custodiéndo sermónes tuos.
By what doth a young man correct his way? * By observing thy words.
In toto corde meo exquisívi te, * ne erráre me fácias a præcéptis tuis.
With my whole heart have I sought after thee: let me not stray from thy commandments.
Thy words have I hidden in my heart, that I may not sin against thee.
Benedíctus es, Dómine; * doce me iustificatiónes tuas.
Blessed art thou, O Lord: teach me thy justifications.
In lábiis meis * numerávi ómnia iudícia oris tui.
With my lips I have pronounced all the judgments of thy mouth.
In via testimoniórum tuórum delectátus sum * sicut in ómnibus divítiis.
I have been delighted in the way of thy testimonies, as in all riches.
In mandátis tuis exercébor * et considerábo vias tuas.
I will meditate on thy commandments: and I will consider thy ways.
In iustificatiónibus tuis delectábor, * non oblivíscar sermónem tuum.
I will think of thy justifications: I will not forget thy words.
Glória Patri, et Fílio, * et Spirítui Sancto.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
Sicut erat in princípio, et nunc et semper, * et in sǽcula sæculórum. Amen.
As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, and ever shall be. Amen.

Ab impiis salva me, Domine
Save me from the godless, Lord.

Exáudi, Dómine, iustítiam meam, * inténde deprecatiónem meam.

Auribus pércipe oratiónem meam, * non in lábiis dolósis.

De vultu tuo iudícium meum pródeat; * óculi tui vídeant æquitátes.

Proba cor meum et vísita nocte; † igne me exámina, * et non invénies in me iniquitátem.

Non transgréditur os meum ad ópera hóminum, * propter verba labiórum tuórum custodívi me a viis violénti.

Custódi me ut pupíllam óculi, † sub umbra alárum tuárum prótege me *a fácie impiórum, qui me afflixérunt.

Lectio brevis (Ier 17,7-8)
Blessed be the man that trusteth in the Lord, and the Lord shall be his confidence. And he shall be as a tree that is planted by the waters, that spreadeth out its roots towards moisture: and it shall not fear when the heat cometh. And the leaf thereof shall be green, and in the time of drought it shall not be solicitous, neither shall it cease at any time to bring forth fruit.

 r. Et cum spíritu tuo.

Benedícat vos omnípotens Deus, Pater, ✠ et Fílius, et Spíritus Sanctus.

 r. Amen.

Amen.
