Nolite ante tempus quidquam iudicare, quoadusque veniat Dominus (1 Cor 4, 5)

Judge nothing before the time until the Lord comes (1 Cor 4:5).

God stands in the assembly of the Almighty; in the midst of the gods He giveth his judgment:

Nonne hoc est ieiúnium, quod elégi: frángere esuriénti panem tuum et egénos, vagos indúcere in domum? Cum víderis nudum, óperi eum et carnem tuam ne despéxeris.

v. Sacrifícium Deo spíritus contribulátus. r. Cor contrítum et humiliátum, Deus, non despícies.

After this the proper prayer is said straightway and without "Let us pray", with the long conclusion.

God, whose ineffable mysteries renew the world, grant to Thy Church to take advantage of the means which Thou hast instituted for her eternal life, and not to lack Thy help for temporal life.
