Thou who begot, unto the surprise of nature, thy holy Creator, [being] a virgin before and after [childbirth], and, from the mouth of Gabriel, receiving this greeting, have mercy on sinners.

Tempus Adventus
Advent season :
v. Angelus Domini nuntiavit Mariæ.
The angel of the Lord brought the announcement to Mary.
r. Et concepit de Spiritu Sancto.
r. And she conceived of the Holy Spirit.
Oremus. Amen.
Let us pray. May Thy grace, Lord, be poured into our souls. Through the angel's message, we have come to know the incarnation of Christ, Thy beloved Son. Guide us, through His Passion and Cross, unto the glory of the Resurrection. Through Christ, our Lord. r. Amen.
From Christmas
v. Post partum, Virgo, inviolata permansisti.
v. Thou remained without blemish after childbirth, O Virgin.
r. Dei Genetrix, intercede pro nobis.
v. Mother of God, intercede for us.
Oremus.
Let us pray. God, who by the Virgin's fruitful virginity procured for the human race the gift of eternal salvation; deign to make us experience the intercession of this Virgin, through whom we have had the happiness of receiving the author of life, our Lord Jesus Christ, Thy Son. r. Amen.
